* Per-app usage time is used on the phone to enforce your limits. "Shared" excludes service providers that process data only on our behalf (listed in the privacy policy).
Encryption
- On your phone: an AES-256 encrypted database (SQLCipher) with the key kept in Android secure storage.
- In transit: every connection uses TLS (HTTPS).
- On the server: Appwrite Cloud encrypts stored data at rest.
Deleting your data
Delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or request deletion here. Synced data is erased immediately; the account record within 7 days.
How we keep it safe
- No advertising or analytics SDKs.
- Sign-in and passwords are handled by Appwrite; Daily OS never stores your password.
- Access to each record is limited to its owner, and to friends only where you share something.
- Only the minimum permissions, requested when a feature needs them.
